Location: Washington

MRR was mandated to remove an underground storage tank which was leaking. Soil around the tank was contaminated with mercaptan. We built a temporary enclosure inside which we worked to treat the contaminated soil on-site. The tank was removed and sent to Philippi, WV for treatment. The treated soil was sent to a municipal landfill.
